Welcome to Kashmir — the crown jewel of India. With its snow-capped mountains, fragrant saffron fields, and the legendary Dal Lake, Kashmir is unlike any place on earth. Our fully customized Kashmir itinerary takes you through the most breathtaking corners of the valley — from the flower-laden meadows of Pahalgam to the world-famous ski resort of Gulmarg and the iconic Dal Lake houseboat.
Arrive at Srinagar airport and transfer to your houseboat on the iconic Dal Lake. Evening shikara ride on the lake watching the sunset behind the Zabarwan hills. Welcome dinner on the houseboat.
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (95 km, ~2.5 hrs). En route, visit Awantipora ruins and Saffron fields. Explore Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Baisaran meadow. Overnight at Pahalgam hotel.
Morning at leisure in Pahalgam. Drive to Gulmarg (140 km, ~3 hrs). Take the Gondola cable car to Kongdoori (Phase 1) or Apharwat Peak (Phase 2, seasonal). Evening walk through Gulmarg meadows.
Day trip to Sonmarg (120 km, ~3 hrs). Visit the Thajiwas Glacier — ride ponies to the glacier (optional). Enjoy the stunning mountain scenery. Return to Gulmarg by evening.
Return to Srinagar. Visit Mughal Gardens — Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Explore the old city — Jama Masjid, Shah-e-Hamdan shrine, and the famous carpet & handicraft markets.
Enjoy a final morning shikara ride or relax on the houseboat. After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport for departure. Carry home the fragrance of Kashmir!
Carry warm clothing even in summer. April–June is ideal for valley bloom. December–February for snow. Ramadan timings may affect sightseeing.
