Arrive at Cochin International Airport. Explore the heritage precinct of Fort Kochi — Chinese fishing nets, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, and Dutch Palace. Overnight in Kochi.
Drive to Munnar (130 km, ~3.5 hrs). En route, visit Cheeyapara and Valara waterfalls. Check into your tea-garden resort. Evening walk through the tea estates. Visit the Tea Museum.
Morning visit to Eravikulam National Park (home to Nilgiri Tahr) and Echo Point. Drive to Alleppey (160 km, ~4 hrs). Board your private luxury houseboat — cruise through the serene backwaters, passing villages, paddy fields, and coconut groves. Dinner and overnight on the houseboat.
Morning cruise continues. Disembark and drive to Kovalam beach (165 km, ~4 hrs). Check into beach resort. Enjoy the lighthouse beach and a relaxing Ayurvedic massage. Sunset dinner by the sea.
Morning yoga or spa session. Transfer to Cochin airport (160 km, ~4 hrs) or Thiruvananthapuram airport (15 km). Depart with God's Own Country in your heart.
Sept–March is ideal. Monsoon (June–Aug) is beautiful too but some activities may be restricted. Book houseboat well in advance during peak season.
